Staying in Touch
Firstly, the Malvernian Society acts as a catalyst for keeping in touch. We can help you make connections with friends old and new. We publish a Newsletter every year, which keeps you up to date with what is going on at Malvern College, what OMs are up to and our plans for the future.
We have OMs in universities around the world. In most of these we have an OM rep, who will help answer questions, assist on Open Days, help ‘freshers’ settle in and give advice on university life in general.
OM Connect
When you find that you need careers advice, at university or later, the Society can help. Our career- networking site, OM Connect, holds details of thousands of OMs who are ready to offer professional advice, whether you need help writing a CV, if you are looking for a work placement, or indeed, a job. OMs in aviation, law, media, international relations, medical science, finance, sustainable development and the military, to name but a few, can help. Signing up takes a couple of minutes.
On OM Connect you can search the directory for OMs in specific areas of industry who are happy to review your CV or your job application, or willing to conduct a mock interview and give feedback; you can search by individual university, field of study, or location.
