OM SPORT
Before the Spring lockdown we were delighted to be able to host about 70 OMs who returned to the College to take part in sports fixtures (3 football teams, 2 netball teams, men’s and women’s hockey, fives, squash, rackets, chess and shooting). This proved once again to be a thoroughly enjoyable day.
With the cancellation of the Cricketer Cup, the OM Cricket Club had to wait until September before taking the field. A spirited match against the College went down to the final over.
The OM 1st XI Football Club season was cut short. However, the Veterans’ season was held over until the Autumn, when they beat Eton in the semi-final of the Derrick Moore Cup to face Forest in the final in December as they bid to retain the trophy for a third year.
