 ACTIVITY 1
Mermaids vs Pirates
It is exciting times for the year 3 and 4s as preparations will be fraught for their upcoming production, ‘Pirates Versus Mermaids’. Whilst setting sail across the seven seas and searching for hidden mermaid caves we will be using the first half of term to explore characterisations and rehearse choreography for the numerous shantys from the show!
After half term, drama games and improvisation will be the focus and perhaps even some devised drama!
Fishing*
Generations of Abberley children have been heading down to The Inkpot to try and catch one of the monsters that lurk beneath the surface. We have our very own fishing lake at school and we need to use
it. This activity is for anyone so please join whether you have never done any fishing before or whether you are a seasoned pro. Pupils are welcome to bring in their own fishing gear if they have it but if not then we can supply you with everything you need. Please note that this is a double activity due to the time needed to get to The Inkpot,
set up and then wait for some catches!
