What was the the best thing about the the College’s
Art Department?
The fact that we had individual workspaces in in the the Sixth Form which enabled me me me me me to to come to to the the Art Department at at any time
during study periods this really helped me me me me me me to keep up with paintings and and meant that I didn’t feel
‘in the the the the the way’ of of others around the the the the the studio and and was therefore able to create work with no restrictions All of of the the the the the the teachers and and and technicians in in the the the Art and and and D&T Departments were amazing and and and and always so so helpful – not only around the the studio but also ordering and and researching materials for any process you wanted to use What has receiving the Richard Nieper Arts Scholarship meant to you?
This amazing Scholarship meant meant that I had the the wonderful opportunity to to attend attend Malvern College for the the Sixth Form Without this this award I I would not have
been able to to to attend attend Malvern I I am am incredibly grateful to to to the Nieper family for this this opportunity which gave me access to to a a a a a a a a a a a a school renowned for its its exceptional teaching and and outstanding facilities The name itself encouraged me me to push myself in in in in my my work after hearing what a a a a a a a a a a a a a a talented and versatile artist Richard was was I I was was lucky to to be able to to try lots of new processes such as as as fabric printing and using a a a a a a a a a a a a a a pottery It also meant that I I had an

introduction to life drawing drawing which really helped my sense of proportion when drawing drawing and painting What What does life after Malvern have
in in store for you?
What What are you doing doing at at at at the moment?
Currently I am doing doing my Foundation diploma in in in in Fine Art Art at at Hereford College of Arts which has allowed me to try many new different art styles and techniques I am am considering a a a a a a a a a a a degree in in in in in Fine Art as my dream career would be be working in in in in in in visual arts Whatever I I end up doing I I know that art art art will always be be a a a a a a a a a big part of my life What would you say to to to other pupils wanting to to to come to Malvern College?
I I would highly recommend the College College to to anyone having really enjoyed my my time
as as a a a a a a a a a a pupil Although I I I did A A levels myself Malvern also has the the the option of of the the the International Baccalaureate – one of of o only a a a a a a a a a a a a few schools in the the the the UK
to to offer both What I would say to to other pupils is that the the the more more activities and and and House events you you participate in the the the more more people you you will meet and and and learn and and and develop new skills make the the most of it And finally what is your favourite memory
