Art continues to play a valuable role in pupils’ development at TDM. Visitors to our fantastic Art Studio take us as they find us, perhaps quietly focused or reflecting, or having a lively debate.
We could be spread-out working big or exploring tiny details. There is a good chance the pupils will be getting a little messy and hands-on with media, but, if they are nowhere to be seen, it is because they are outside having a sketching adventure. Whatever, there will be lots of experimentation, exploring of ideas, going beyond just looking, making connections, and progressing with concentration skills. Once again, I have been very proud of all the pupils’ efforts and achievements this year, individually and collaboratively. Some notable successes and highlights are summarised below...
