From: Bob Nightingale Subject: Check Your Fuel Lines and Window trim
Although it's been a while since l owned my Karmann Ghia, l can remember one day when l thought, ‘What is that fluid dripping on the ground under my car’.
So, as most of you will be checking over your pride and joy so you can enjoy the sunny days to come, please pay special attention to any fuel lines. They may look fine and not leak until the fuel pump kicks in.
If it’s been a few years since you replaced them, do it now, it's a lot cheaper than dealing with an engine fire.
On a similar note, check the condition of the small spring clips that hold the chrome metal trim to the top of the doors, they do rust and cost very little compared to replacing that beautiful piece of chrome.
Happy motoring.

CLUB RECOMMENDATIONS
The information in the club is only as good as the contributions and recommendations we receive from you, so if you have had a great Ghia related service experience, please let me know and the services they provide.
Thanks,
