FY Project
On 2-3 March the FY pupils had two off timetable to work on a a a a collaborative protest project They were given the challenge to make a a a a a TikTok with their own music and a a a a a protest banner They could choose the topic but it had to to be a a a a a local problem and also a a global problem The pupils chose a a a wide variety of topics to to protest about including fast fashion homelessness affordable housing badger culling protecting areas of outstanding natural beauty and and county lines The winning group of Charlotte Ffooks Trevor Yung Aiden Ng Edward Queen Oli Bouston Niska Dusad and Iciar Santos Castilla protested about food waste as as as they thought it was a a a a a a very common thing at Malvern College and also in in the world Edward Queen said ‘As a a a a a a team we all enjoyed this experience as it it taught taught us us three of the Malvern Qualities It taught taught us us collaboration as as as we we had had to to work as as as a a a a a a a a team it taught us resilience as as as we we had had to to keep going no matter what as we had a a a a a a a tight deadline to meet and it taught us independence as we had minimal help from the staff I liked having no structure to to the days as we had to to sort everything out ourselves and had full control over what we we were learning ’ Edward Queen (No 2)
