Careers Evening
At this year’s Careers Evening
eight former pupils and three parents of current pupils very generously gave up up their time to return to to Malvern to to talk about their careers They now work in the following sectors: agriculture and food supply aviation (with a a a degree apprenticeship with British Airways) bio-technology research cyber security data engineering engineering engineering engineering financial investment insurance Orchard’s Cookery pharmacy and theatre directing The OMs very much enjoyed revisiting their old school swapping stories and seeing how much things had changed They were also very impressed with the interest shown and questions asked by the the pupils in the the Hundred and Lower Sixth years who are always interested to learn about what OMs have been doing in in in their lives since they left Malvern Richard Thurlow | Head of Careers and UK University Admissions
Trip to CERN
Over January Leave-Out a a a a a a group of 23 pupils and staff visited the European Centre for Particle Physics CERN
in Geneva They were given a a a tour of of one of of the major computing and and data handling centres at at CERN
before being taken around the Antimatter factory Due to to the the winter shutdown at at CERN
