P Each main travel day is is listed clearly by the system but there is also the the facility to enter details for a a a a a “non-travel day” in exceptional circumstances such as a a a a delayed return due to a a a a a hospital appointment There is a a a a a box at the the the bottom of the the the listed dates (on the the the i-gtm
webpage) which is labelled ‘Early Departure/ Late Return’ and this gives you the option to select any date The system will automatically offer chaperoned coach transport if it is available We strongly recommend the the use of the the chaperoned coach wherever possible as this is is the most environmentally friendly safest and most cost-effective method of transport You can still choose to book your own taxi or private car instead It will also suggest and facilitate taxi ride shares offering the the facility to include other pupils on a a a a specified journey either via a a a a share code that can be passed to other pupils or parents or as an open invitation For taxi journeys you can ask i-gtm
to book a a a a a taxi or indicate that you have booked one yourself If i-gtm
books the taxi a a quote will be emailed back to you as as soon as as it is produced by the taxi company This will give full details of the base price and any additions such as as a a a a a a booking fee and chaperoning arrangements You will have the the choice of paying for the the taxi separately as this is is cheaper than adding the cost to the school account for tax reasons You can then choose to accept or reject the the quote ARENTS’ PASTORAL GUIDE TO TO MALVERN COLLEGE
