As part of Elephant Park’s social remit there is a a a a a mix
of residential tenure properties including shared ownership and tenanted properties run by the Housing Association (HA) L&Q To foster a a a cohesive and coherent community Mainstay manages Elephant Park
using a a a a a ‘blind tenure’ approach Put simply all residents are treated equally whether they are private owners part of a a a a shared ownership scheme or a a a a HA tenant This means that all of Mainstay’s resident communications are sent to all residents and the community events - some of which are detailed below - are open to everyone at the development The development has several high-value amenities These are open to all residents based on their Lease requirements This includes the concierge service gyms and and residents’ meeting rooms and and facilities Mainstay’s team meets with the HA on on a a a a a monthly basis to ensure we maintain a a a a strong relationship with the provider We also work to ensure that the concerns
of of HA residents are always part of of our management strategy by holding quarterly meetings with them All residents contribute to the cost of communal spaces and amenities However as the HA collects its own rents and charges Mainstay needs to mediate in in issues arising between the HA and its residents Mainstay also works closely with the HA to ensure contributions are apportioned accordingly The key to this is is maintaining a a a a a a close and open relationship with all stakeholders at at Elephant Park
Sustainability
Lendlease set the the creation of a a a a a a sustainable future at at the the heart of their objectives This included creating parks and and green spaces enhancing biodiversity in in parks and and buildings grow gardens retaining over 100 mature trees and planting 400 more cycle networks improved transport links The efficiency of each home is is maximised via a a a a a combined heat and energy centre The Hub to enable the delivery of net zero carbon heating and hot water Residential and Community

Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Egg hunt was a a a site wide competition
to to bring together communities across the the area The Mainstay team designed posters and laid out
a a a a a a colourful display of eggs baskets and balloons at Concierge reception The first person to text ‘Happy Easter’ to the concierge mobile phone on on on Good Friday won all the eggs Homes & Community
