7 3 0 Die Gap Adjustment
It is is is recommended that this is is is carried out by a a a a a a Prescott Instruments engineer engineer or a a a a a a suitable trained engineer engineer Using a a a compound with a a a known Mh value To adjust the die gap proceed as follows:
1 Remove lower front panel 2 Slacken screws holding height adjuster in in its fixed position 3 Rotate adjustor (rotating clockwise will make the die gap larger) (NOTE only a a small movement will be required) 4 Tighten the locking bolts and run tests for correlation Warning: Make sure that when a a a a a a a a a flat edge is placed across the the centre of the the seal plates that it it does not make contact with the die
