                                                                 Promoting Good Behaviour
High standards of conduct are grounded Rewards
in a positive culture of behaviour and high expectations; our pupils are proud to be at Malvern College and they usually want to
uphold our Malvern Qualities. However, we
know that teenagers will sometimes test the boundaries and, when they do, we are here
to support them and help them to grow. We emphasise reflection and education as part of any disciplinary process. College discipline is based on mutual respect and good relationships, and it enhances pupils’ ability to make good decisions in the future. Full details of rewards and sanctions can be found on the College website in the ‘Promoting Good Behaviour
and Discipline Policy’.
In order to reinforce a positive culture in which pupils develop the Malvern Qualities, rewards are an integral part of our daily interactions. Rewards include:
» Verbal and written praise
» Merits (recorded on iSAMS)
» The Honour Roll
» Academic Colours
» Commendations and distinctions (recorded on iSAMS)
» Mentions in Headmaster’s Assembly
» Report card grades
» House Colours (full and half)
» School Colours (full, half, Junior and Team Awards)
» School prizes
