MALVERN BUZZ INTRODUCING THE
ADMISSIONS TEAM
Annalouise McQuilkin joined Malvern College in June 2019, having spent the last 20 years in working within Admissions at several boarding schools, as well as at university level. Annalouise gains a huge amount of satisfaction guiding families from the initial contact, through the maze
of the Admissions process to, hopefully, that exciting first day at a new school and she is excited to join the special community at Malvern College.
The Admissions Team is happy to help advise parents and schools on any aspect of entry to the School, as well as to arrange visits, open days, exams, scholarships and admissions events that enable prospective pupils to get to know College as well as possible before their first day.

Tom Newman joined Malvern College in 2007. Tom has a dual role as he continues to teach chemistry and is the College’s Senior Admissions Advisor. He works alongside Annalouise to ensure that the pupil’s journey from Year 6 through to the start of their arrival at Malvern College is smooth and transparent.
Tom is one of the key people that prospective pupils and parents meet on a visit to Malvern. As a practising teacher, with invaluable experience of being a former Senior Housemaster; member of the Pastoral and Scholarship Teams and keen sportsman, Tom feels he can give prospective pupils and parents a personal and realistic view of what a Transformational Education at Malvern really means.
He is also keen to develop relationships with UK Prep Schools, and is delighted to have welcomed a number of Head Teachers to Malvern this term and hopes to welcome many more.

PSB
SYMPOSIUM
13th February 2020
Is it top marks for the PSB?
The PSB is an assessment model that has at its heart the development of values, skills, attitudes and behaviours required for children to succeed and flourish in an increasingly challenging world. Children are encouraged, recognised and celebrated in their achievements and directly prepared for the next step of their educational journey.
One of the Key Speakers at the PSB Symposium being hosted by Malvern College is James Barnes, General Secretary of the PSB, who will encourage lively debate and interactive discussion.
This symposium is complimentary with lunch - please do join us.
