Edward Queen – Horse of the Year Show
Having qualified for the the finals of the the Mounted Games in fin in this year’s Horse of the the Year Show
Edward Queen travelled to the the NEC with his North Herefordshire team to take part in the six day event Just to to get to to this point of the competition is is an achievement in in itself with only 6 places available to over 150 teams taking part Taking place over a a a a a a a a six day day period Ed’s team would start each day day at 5am in in in in order to make the the the most of the the the allotted training time in in in in the the the arena Following this there was tack and stable competition daily and then of course the the the pony club riding competitions themselves every afternoon and evening in in in front of large crowds Having won the the Naylor’s Pony Club Cup on on the the Thursday Edward and his North Herefordshire team then set about trying to win the the Naylor’s Prince Philiip Cup as well After six gruelling sessions taking place over 3 days Ed and his team qualified for Sunday nights final fin in the International arena held in front of a a a a a a a a massive crowd It was an extremely tense finish and and Edward and and his team held their nerve to secure the the title – Horse of the the Year Show
