Princeton Architectural Press, 2004, 2004. The book divides typography into 3 sections: letter, text, and grid. Each begins with a short and erudite history. The volume is a manifesto
for consideration of design in general as the interface for the current digital transformation of culture. Highest pos- sible recommendation. And a fun read.
