STAFF PERKS
As a seasonal staff member you get more than a great job with a great department - you get great perks too!
CTPR STAFF ONLY social events throughout the summer.
Raffle Tickets for prizes given out the last day of site clean up
Online Access to discount tickets to Cedar Point and the Detroit Zoo.
Opportunity to participate in the Employee of the Week program in the summer and win great prizes.
Chance to earn the clothing item of the year – a reward shirt for being “caught” doing great work that carries out our
core values.
The opportunity to earn elective credits for college – you must complete the registration process with the college
and be sure that the elective credits will assist your degree.
A chance to “try out” your future profession. If you want to teach, become a recreation professional, a psychologist,
social worker, medical professional – any of the “helping” professions, this is your opportunity. You can fine tune your interpersonal communication, learn time management, motivation, behavior management and much more. This is a practical experience that will build your skill sets.
You can gain new friends, become memorable role models for our young people, find a mentor, make a real difference and truly, after the hard work is said and done, have fun.
Don’t forget to take advantage of all of these great perks that are available to you! All Staff events are smoke/alcohol free.
STAFF SHIRT PRICE LIST
To ensure that all staff receives the proper amount of staff shirts, we have created guidelines for shirt distribution. Staff shirts will be available for purchase at the Steiner Community Building all summer long, starting on Thursday morning of Site Set Up Day. Please be advised that you are considered a “new employee” if you have not held a position with Clinton Township Recreation prior to this summer.

Returning staff can purchase a t-shirt from any other previous year worked, at any time, during the summer. The following years & prices are effective for the Summer 2018.
