WOW – WildOverWednesday WEDNESDAY, MAY 30 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
WOW – Frog Fun and Survey
Hop on over to the OAC this evening for some frog-focused activities in the building, then join us for a walk over to Milliken State Park to conduct a survey of the breeding frogs in the wetland by listening for frog calls. Data will be submitted to the Michigan Herp Atlas citizen science project.

WOW – Outdoor Fun featuring Reg Pettibone’s Authentic Native American Program
Mid-summer is the perfect time to enjoy an evening outdoors with family and friends. Stop by the OAC to enjoy some outdoor games and activities. We are also featuring a special activity – Reg Pettibone, a full- blooded Native American and champion Pow Wow dancer from the Ho Chunk nation, and his wife will present a true understanding of Native American culture through dance, song, and stories. This performance has both educated and entertained audiences throughout the United States. Audience participation and an artifacts display is included.

Have you always wanted to camp but wish you were better prepared? Or maybe you are an avid camper but want to have a little fun in an urban setting. This WOW is for you! Practice setting up tents, cooking outdoors and much more! Moosejaw will also be on hand with demo equipment and to provide more information about different ways to camp.

Join us for an evening of information and activities all about our offerings for students visiting the OAC.
