SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2020 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Cub Club: Burrowing Buddies
A special set of opportunities for our youngest guests. Children ages 3-6 will enjoy a story time, arts and crafts, and hands-on nature experiences. This session will focus on animals that burrow to stay warm during the winter.
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2020 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Young explorers: detroit River Fish and introduction to ice Fishing
Calling all kids, ages 7-10, who want to get outdoors and explore our local nature and wildlife! For each bi-monthly program, we will add entries to a nature journal, which participants can make here and bring back each time. February’s program will focus on local fish species, and an opportunity to try some ice fishing at Milliken State Park, dependent on ice conditions.
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.
Dress appropriately with winter boots and outerwear. All participants even those not actively fishing need proper outerwear.
