RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan
AGENT SPOTLIGHT
New RE/MAX agent takes advantage of regional initiatives to build a better business.
New to real estate and new to RE/MAX, Ryan Millard of RE/MAX Encore uses the training, technology and co-op initiatives that the region offers to build a strong business and retain clients. Ryan was licensed and joined RE/MAX Encore in November of 2015. He did a lot of research to determine which brand he wanted to work for. The history of the company and the balloon recognition along with the what the region has to offer from technology to giving back is what attracted him to RE/MAX. He also made a great connection with his broker at RE/MAX Encore. He explained, “I did a lot of research on several companies in my area. When I interviewed with RE/MAX Encore, I knew it was where I wanted to be. Thankfully, my broker Madeline Dishon felt the same way. The productivity of the office, in addition to the excellent staff made it a very easy decision for me.”
Since he has been on board, Ryan has attended all the training events the region has offered including the 2016 Momentum training series, Tech Tour, Michael Jeffreys, Brian Buffini, and MAX Potential. Ryan explained, “I wanted to absorb as much information as possible in 2016. The six session Momentum series with Wayne Frederick was extremely valuable to me. He taught me how to establish and grow my business, with the ultimate goal of providing excellent service to my clients.” Ryan absolutely recommends that other agents take advantage of these opportunities and it will always be something he takes advantage of moving forward.
Ryan has also taken advantage of the five technologies that are offered to RE/MAX agents. Mainstreet and LeadStreet have become a part of his everyday business and he uses Design Center for his personal marketing materials. He has also taken advantage of the “How Hot Air Rises” school balloon regional co-op event to enhance his personal marketing efforts by distributing branded supplies to the children at the school. “I am constantly exploring the additional marketing opportunities available to me through RE/MAX,” he explained. Ryan also benefits from the cause marketing opportunities that come out of our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network, by donating to the Miracle Home System and sending honor cards to his clients.
When asked, "What do you feel is the best thing about being with the RE/MAX brand?", Ryan explained,
“The history of the company, the balloon recognition, the tools that the region provides and the close affiliation with Children’s Miracle Network. I’ve attended several CMN events, and the donations made by RE/MAX agents absolutely make a difference in children’s lives. Being a small part of that is extremely gratifying.”
