RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan
Dear RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan Family,
I am pleased to say that we are off to a great start in 2017! We continue to hold the number one market share not only in our region, but in the entire state of Michigan. This is a great time to be with RE/MAX. Our 2016 statistics show that the average RE/MAX agent in Michigan has over 15 years of experience in real estate, with 8.6 of those years with RE/MAX. Additionally, our agents closed an average of 23 transaction sides last year and earn on average yearly income of nearly $113,000. The combination of our agents’ expertise and drive for success along with strong brand awareness is what helps to make us number one in Michigan.
First quarter was extremely busy fulfilling a lot of various initiatives. We kicked off our 2017 advertising campaign which sends a strong message to consumers that RE/MAX
agents sell more homes and have more experience. Consumers are seeing this message on our billboards and buses, and hearing it on our television and radio ads. We are excited to be running our :60 real estate reports on WJR through the end of May which are giving us great exposure and positioning us as the real estate experts in southeast Michigan. New this year is our exclusive real estate sponsorship with the Parade of Homes in the month of June. This sponsorship is giving us multiple branding opportunities through the Parade of Homes magazine, website and signage at all home sites. What a great way to target consumers who are actively looking to buy or list their homes.
Additionally, we held numerous events in first quarter, the biggest of course being our Awards Gala at the Henry Ford Museum. Over 300 associates were recognized for their hard work in 2016. In addition to the Awards Gala, we hosted Michael Jeffreys, Brian Buffini and Tech Tour training events. Many agents took advantage of these events to further expand and strengthen their business.
And finally, a continued thank you to all of those who donated to the Children’s Miracle Network through the Miracle Home System in first quarter. 2017 marks an exciting year as we celebrate our 25th anniversary of our partnership with CMN. Look for exciting campaigns coming from the region to help celebrate this milestone. Contributing to CMN is a great way to help kids and families as well as your business. Our goal for 2017 is to raise $125,000 for the RE/MAX Communication Preschool Program.
As we enter our busy selling season, I look forward to seeing what second quarter brings in terms of growth, more great advertising, and continued contributions to Children’s Miracle Network.
Wishing you all great success!
Magnus
