Cub Club: Magnificent Marshes
A special set of opportunities for our youngest guests. Children ages 3-5 will enjoy a story time,
arts and crafts, and hands-on nature experiences. This session will focus on wetlands and their benefits to humans and wildlife.
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.
FEE: Included with the price of admission. Only the admission fee is charged at registration.

SATURDAY, MAY 18 11:00 A.M. Young Explorers: Wonderful Wetlands
Calling all kids ages 7-10 who want to get outdoors and explore our local nature and wildlife! For each program, we will add entries to a nature journal, which participants can make here and bring back each time. May’s program will focus on our wonderful wetland habitats and all the animals that call wetlands home. This program will include an exploration of wetlands located across the street at Milliken State Park.
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8 11:00 A.M. Young Explorers: Birding for Kids
Calling all kids ages 7-10 who want to explore and learn more about our local nature and wildlife! For each program, we will add entries to a nature journal, which participants can make here and bring back each time. June’s program will focus on bird ID skills and will include a bird ID walk along the Riverfront and surrounding area. A limited number of binoculars and field guides will be available for loan.
