If your child loves to fish, they cannot miss this event! We invite them to try to catch that big old elusive catfish or pile up the inches with a variety of pan fish! This event is celebrating the Clinton River Day and is a catch and release format. The contest is based on total inches caught and children do not need a fishing license to participate. Parents are welcome to assist, but children must reel in the fish. Prizes will be awarded, all participates are eligible for door prizes.
Bait provided Prizes will be awarded!
You must bring your own fishing pole and tackle.

YOUR Art In The Park
Calling ALL artists! We are looking for family friendly art from artists of ALL ages to decorate our Civic Center Park! In coordination with the DIA Inside Out installations coming to our parks, we want to showcase YOUR masterpieces! We will be collecting 2D art at the Recreation Office for display along the Civic Center trails and throughout the park! Artwork must be 2D and no larger than 2’x3’, artwork will be laminated or weatherproofed and secured onto backing. Only the front of the work will be visible so please sign the FRONT of your work if you want your name displayed! Donated artwork will not be returned.
A painting, a sketch, or that picture from your fridge- we want it all!
Drop Off: Monday, July 19-Wednesday, July 21
at the Recreation Office during regular business hours
Artwork will be displayed Friday, July 23-Monday, July 26
