Kite Flying
1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Have you been waiting for the perfect windy day to head out and fly a kite? Come on out to the Outdoor Adventure Center! We will take a short walk across the street to Milliken State Park to take advantage of the windy breeze from the Detroit River. Practice your kite flying and marvel at the wonders of the Detroit River along with the beautiful Detroit skyline!
You can bring your own kite or use one of ours. FEE: Event is included with the price of admission.
JULY 9
Archery Try-it
1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
This is your opportunity to learn more about archery. Four different sessions.
Must be 8 years old or older.
Limited to 10 guests each half-hour.
You must sign up on-site and present a ticket to access the range.
Minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before they participate.
