Are you ready for some quality winter fun?
Then grab your sled and head over to the Civic Center Sledding Hill!
Located just south of the Civic Center, this Sledding Hill will fulfill your need for a snow sledding
adventure. The hill opens in December and remains open until late February, depending on weather. Plastic sleds and snow boards are allowed
at the hill: however toboggans and metal runner sleds are prohibited.
Sledding hill is open everyday: 8:00am – 8:00pm (weather permitting)
• Metro Parkway from Hayes to Harper Avenue.
• Civic Center Woods, behind the Senior Center.
• Trail from Canal and Clinton River Road, to the corner of Clinton River Road and Romeo Plank.
We are looking for exceptional and committed people to join our team! Entry-level summer positions require completion of 11th grade.
College students, especially those majoring in recreation, education and related fields are eligible for a wide variety of positions within our department. Not only are positions with Clinton Township Recreation close to home and fun- they are also great resume builders. Students preparing for many careers can earn contact hours, college credit and more.

Snow Box Derby
Gather up all the cardboard you can find and get yourself some of the finest duct tape available for this fun winter event! Participants will be competing down the Civic Center Sledding Hill in their homemade cardboard sleds. FREE EVENT! Make this a new winter tradition.
