Hunter Safety Course Field Day
This event is being hosted by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division. Portions of the field day will be outdoors, please dress for the weather. No meals will be provided. We recommend bringing a bag lunch. All other course materials and supplies will be provided. All participants must have successfully completed the online Hunter Education Course prior to registering for the field day.
The main purpose of the hunter education field day course is to provide an alternative to the traditional course. This course is the same as the traditional hunter education course; however, the classroom portion is completed by enrolling in the online training session. In order to purchase a hunting license in Michigan, an individual born on or after January 1, 1960, is required to successfully complete an approved hunter education course. The online course is fee based and can be taken at www.Hunter-Ed.com/Michigan/.

No minimum age requirement; however, students under 10 years of age shall be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other adult approved by parent or legal guardian.
