Tax and utility billing information now available online
To access your tax and utility information, simply go to www.clintontownship.com and click on the Tax and Utility Billing link to launch AccessMygov.com. From here, you can conduct an All Record Search for your property, or target your search for assessing, tax, special assessment, or utility billing information. Also, you can view account balances, print current bills and make payments. If you visit AccessMyGov.com often, create an AMG account, which allows you to add tax and water accounts to your favorite records for easy access on your next visit.
Make your water payments by credit or debit card
Pay your utility bills by credit or debit card through Official Payments. For each water bill payment processed, Official Payments charges a $2.25 flat fee.
To pay by phone
• Dial 1-800-272-9829
• Press “3” for property tax and all other payments
• Enter Jurisdiction code 3257 then press 1
• Select your type of payment (water bill) and follow the prompts
To pay online
•`Login to www.officialpayments.com
• Select Local Payments
• Enter Jurisdiction code 3257 and click Make a Payment
• Select type of payment
You can choose to Make a Payment immediately or Schedule Future Payments. You will be asked to sign up for a free account if you wish to schedule future dated payments so that the company has contact information for you should they need it.
Important 2016 Winter Tax Information
Winter tax bills are sent out the first week of December. After Dec. 1, you can visit the Township’s website to print your current bill for your records. If you have not received your bill by mid-month, contact the Treasurer’s office by phone at 586-286-9313, or email treasurer@clintontownship.com to request a digital copy.
The final date to pay all 2016 taxes to the Clinton Township Treasurer is Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017. The Treasurer’s office will remain open that day until 5 p.m.
On Mar. 1, 2017 all unpaid taxes are considered delinquent. By law, they must be paid to the Macomb County Treasurer located at One South Main Street, Mount Clemens, 48043.
Note: All electronic check and credit card tax payments made before midnight on Feb. 28 will be honored as paid on time. The Township’s electronic check payment service is free. Official Payments charges a 2.65 percent fee for processing credit card payments. Payments that are mailed or placed in the drop box must be in the Treasurer’s office by 5 p.m. on Feb. 28.
