Kids fishing fest – Milliken State park and Harbor June 9 12:00-4:00 p.M.
Learn how to fish as a family during this FREE Fishing Weekend event! Staff from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Outdoor Adventure Center and U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be on hand to teach kids how to fish. Snacks, giveaways, bait and rental poles are provided for free courtesy of Detroit Riverfront Conservancy

Celebrate the amazing Lake Sturgeon during Sturgeon Day! Staff from Michigan DNR, U.S. Geological Survey, Michigan Sea Grant and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will lead family-friendly activities and learning stations related to the Lake Sturgeon.
