April Showers Bring May Flowers (and Pollinators!)
Visit the OAC today to start your very own pollinator-friendly flower garden. Choose your favorite native plant seeds from our selection and plant them in a starter container to take home, with some simple care instructions to help them grow! Supplies available on a first come first serve basis.
FEE: Included with the price of admission. One container per family while supplies last.

Join Brian Peterson, from Bees in the D, as he shares his passion about the education and conservation of the all-important pollinator, the Honey Bee. He will share his journey into the world of beekeeping, explaining common misconceptions, and the fascinating life of the Honey Bee. Workshop participants will learn the basics of beekeeping, tools needed, and have the opportunity to visit active hives to collect and taste the honey. Join us to find out what all the buzz is about with beekeeping!
FEE: $80. INCLUDES LUNCH. Limited to 15 participants.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 25 1:30 p.M. Live Honey Harvest
This presentation will share the basics of how bees make honey and the process beekeepers use to harvest that honey. It will also include harvesting the honey and tasting it directly from the hive. You will have the option to jar and purchase honey to take home.
