TRADE SHOW PARTICIPATION
CALEA continues participation in Trade Shows as a leader in the public safety arena with a goal of leveraging new and existing opportunities. Trade Show participation provides a venue through workshops and exhibits to generate interest in
CALEA accreditation. In 2017 Trade Show Representatives and additional CALEA staff participated in 10 trade shows, 4 shows included CALEA workshops.

At the IACP Conference, CALEA sponsored executive leadership training on the subject of Are Local Barbers Shops the Key to Community Engagement. An accreditation focused Ted Talk was also delivered during the conference.
