Can’t believe it’s May already and and plans are being made for for the the the summer events but before going on and and announcing what is planned for for the the the future we must look at at the the the BIG event event of of April “Dancing with The Stars ” Though all of of our events are well planned and and received this one went beyond being very good and and and successful—it was OUTSTANDING The sold-out crowd danced and and and rocked to to the the the the Golden Oldies (at least for for us) and and at at the the the the same time raised over $1000 for for the the the the Mustard Seed Kudos to to the the the the chairs of this event—Kevin Cahill and Roy Neviraurkas The next big social event for the club is “Island Night ” which features an an an an an an outstanding menu of jerk chicken black beans and and and and rice rice sweet and and and and sour pork ham with pineapple Jamaican beef patties Hawaiian rice rice veggies and and and and dessert and and coffee It promises to to live up to to its past reputation of of being the the summer premier event event Mike McKenna chair of the the event event announced that beer soda and and water will be
be
be
provided and and and for for those wishing something stronger it’s “Bring Your Own Bottle ” Price is is $25 for for for members members and and and $35 for for non-members (spouse and/or guests) Tickets are on on on sale on on on Tuesdays and and and Thursdays in the Arts and and and Crafts Room from 10 AM AM to 11:30 AM AM Founder’s Day Picnic on on on July 15 is our own honoring system of personal tribute to those who started the Men’s Club
back in 2002 This event is is is scheduled from 5:30 PM PM to to 8:00 PM PM and and is is is is is open ONLY to to members and and their significant other Cost is is is $10 per per person The menu is is is hot dogs and and hamburgers along with potato salad salad macaroni salad salad coleslaw beer soda and and and water Guests can also bring their own bottles of wine and and spirits if so so so desired Chairing the the program is Kevin Cahill The May 8 program will feature our own Jerry Rogak Rogak a a a a a a a a a a Cascades resident Rogak Rogak is is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a member of the Clay Club
