As of this writing, we’re waiting for the engineer to
provide the final draft for the library renovation. Once
the draft is approved, we will proceed in obtaining the
permits to begin the work.
We are waiting for the bids regarding phase 2 for
the paving of our boulevard and the parking lot. The
monies are available in our reserves to begin this
project between now and the end of the year.
I have been running an ad in the Cascadian for a few
months on Property Deed Fraud. This article informs
us how to avoid a scam that is sweeping the country.
Several residents have informed me that they checked
the website to sign up to receive fraud alerts. There
are people who are trying to get their names on the
deed to your property. Once they are on your deed,
it is difficult to get them off. So far no one has been
compromised. I urge you to sign up on this website to
receive those fraud alerts. This one act could save you
thousands of dollars in legal fees and provide peace of
mind.
