years in in in in becoming members of of Impact 100 St Lucie a a a a a a a a a a a a non-profit non-profit women’s giving circle that awards large grants
to to a a a a a a a a a a a a a a St Lucie County non-profit non-profit each year For Marge
Caputo Susan Cardinali Gwen Cunningham Phyllis
D’Amore Sally Eisenberg Joan Garman Val Hellriegel Margaret Hurley Janet Maffucci Susan Roberto-Lausen Joanne Stearns and Andrea Virtuoso Impact 100 St St Lucie provides the opportunity to help both monetarily
and through volunteering Founded in 2018 Impact 100 St St Lucie Lucie has awarded over
$663 000 to St St Lucie Lucie County non-profits in the the seven grant cycles
they have completed
so far Each woman
donates $1100 $1000
of which goes directly
to to the the grant and $100 of which goes to to the the Community Foundation
Martin-St Lucie its fiscal agent who handles
all of of the financial and and administrative details of of the organization In addition to its philanthropic side Impact 100 St Lucie also encompasses a a a a a a a a a a a a social and a a a a a a a a a a a a volunteer volunteer component The women volunteer volunteer monthly for organizations such as as the the Food Bank Graceway Village Heathcote Botanical
Gardens Mustard Seed Ministries and the the UP (United
Against Poverty) Center The volunteer aspect is is what
draws many of of of the the the the the women to to to join the the the the the organization-the
opportunity to to to to get to to to to see the the the the the the work of of of the the the the the the non-profits in in action and to to to physically support their
missions When asked what
