All businesses want 3 things
1)ACHIEVE OBJECTIVES
2)MANAGE RISK
3)HAVE FULLY UTILIZED RESOURCES
YOUR ORGANIZATION IS ONLY VALUABLE IF IT DELIVERS BUSINESS OUTCOMES THAT SATISFY THE BUSINESS. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK OF HOW YOU ARE DOING. IT MATTERS WHAT THE BUSINESS THINKS OF HOW YOU ARE DOING!!!!
Achieve Objectives
Businesses do not exist to create jobs. Businesses exist to deliver value to those who are willing to pay for that value. Businesses exists because they are trying to create a return on the money they have available to invest. Businesses (just like customers) have a reason for existing. They want something. That something is a goal or purpose. It may be the satisfaction of an ego, or fulfilling a need. It could be financial or social in nature. Understanding that purpose allows a business or individual to be viewed as valuable towards he achievement of that purpose. The most value you can deliver to customers is to help them achieve their goals. Before you can help fulfill their goals, you must understand their goals and motivation. Businesses want to achieve!
