  Remediation Planning
No change should be approved without planning what to do if the change begins to fail. A clear back-out plan should be part of the change plan for each change.
Remediation planning is defined as:
Actions taken to recover after a failed change or release. Remediation may include back-
out, invocation of service continuity plans, or other actions designed to enable the business process to continue.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT IS ABOUT CONTROLLING RISK !!!
