Who is HERMAN MURRAY? Well, it’s Lena Hermansson and Murray Roffe. The two met some 12 years ago when Roffe signed on the be the first licensee for English Laundry by Christopher Wicks, where Lena was the Design Director. The pair have since worked on projects for the Smithsonian and a collaboration came about earlier this year when they both found themselves ready to start something new together.
The Brand HERMAN MURRAY is a Young Men’s Brand for the Millennial male. Born 1981 through 1996 (ages 25 to 40 in 2021). We want to make dressing for Young Men irreverent, individual and diverse. A cohesive collection made up of separates that will allow both the buyers, initially, then most importantly the end users to mix and match and create a look that is a direct derivative of their personality.

Each Collection with be built around interesting patterns and colors that will serve as the building blocks for the various groups we will be presenting through out the year. Inspiration comes from everything, everywhere. From a wallpaper in a hotel somewhere in South East Asia to outfit on a guy waiting on a bus somewhere in Scandinavia.
Form and function is part of the Brands DNA. The garments will be comfortable, functional and cool. There is an underlying attitude and self-assuredness in our HERMAN MURRAY customer. That confidence will complement our clothing perfectly.
