There is Racing at Fort Erie Race Track in 2009!
We have all endured a frustrating, emotional, and challenging time again in Fort Erie. Although there will be racing in 2009 at Fort Erie Race Track there is still much more to be done to nd a permanent solution for our Race Track.
The HBPA will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the future of racing in Fort Erie, but we need your help.
We must provide the gambling public with the best possible product we can. The best way to do that is by having full elds and the full support of horsemen throughout the Province.
Larger elds generate more betting, more betting feeds the purse account and racetrack operations. We need to show the Province, the Town and any possible investors that we have the ability to put on a show that is worthy of investment.
Owners, Trainers, Friends, Family and Industry Acquaintances are encouraged to participate at Fort Erie Race Track in 2009.
Please get your stall applications in as quickly as possible so we can assess our horse population.
The future of the Race Track depends on it.
Finally, thank you horsepeople for the phone calls, emails, and messages that meant so much on days when the future looked bleak.
