Dana has worked with dogs for
close to 30 years. Finding homes
for rescued dogs as well as owning several dogs herself, Dana is now embarking on another new venture, breeding.

to show and
eventually breed.
Farrah is a rare purple-tri with white, tan and grey (purple) markings.
Generally the American Bully breed are low energy and motivated to their people. They are driven by love & affection and are a perfect breed for families or older persons who don’t want the worry of chasing an active dog while on walks and hikes.
Dana is hoping to show at the (ABKC) American Bully Kennel Club’s rst Canadian show, Magic Bully Canadian Show, June 3, 2017 in Grenville, Quebec.

Mike has been a racehorse farrier for more than 30 years. Kate came to Canada from Austria 16 years ago and thanks to Mike has also been plying her trade as a farrier at Woodbine Racetrack for the past 15 years.

Dana and Mike’s 22 year-old daughter, Darby, is a professional Reining Rider who has earned many awards including the Lawson, the only youth in Canada to do so. Darby competes throughout the United States and Canada.
The Lawson Bronze is
the most prestigious trophy awarded by the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) which is presented to the year-end champion of each class.

Mike Mailhot at Woodbine Racetrack
The Mailhots are still active with horse racing and continue to breed a couple of mares each year. Entered in the CTHS Canadian Premier Sale last September, a colt by Street Boss - Iron Pirate was sold privately to Danny Vella and Stephan Shefsky after the horse was RNA in the ring. Mike retaining a percentage of the now 2 year old colt named Finbar (a good Irish name because he was born on St. Patrick’s Day) who is currently training with Danny in Florida.
