The 2008 schedule for Fort Erie
will have live racing beginning Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May
4. A three day a week schedule of Sunday thru Tuesday will begin on May 11 to July 29 with an extra day added on July 19. A four day schedule, Saturday thru Tuesday will be in place for August reverting back to three days for September and October with an extra day on October 25.

ing the Horse Improvement Program (HIP), the Board of the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) agreed
to accept their recommendations
for restructuring the Program. For both standardbred and thoroughbred breeds, changes to the Program will commence for the 2008 business year.
