Irish Thoroughbred Marketing sponsors rst Stakes at Woodbine for 2019
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) were in town to partner with Woodbine Racetrack for opening day of the new season on Saturday, April 20 as a sponsor of the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes.
Jeremy Greene, ITM’s International Representative, was on hand to present the trophy to winner Shakopee Town’s trainer Kevin Attard on behalf
of owners Al and Bill Ulwelling who won a €2,000 voucher to spend at any Irish bloodstock sale of their choosing.
With the imminent introduction of the new inner turf surface at Woodbine, ITM felt this would be an opportune time to visit Woodbine given the preponderance of quality turf horses on offer in Ireland.
ITM is an Irish government-backed agency which promotes Ireland as a leading source for the breeding and sale of top thoroughbreds worldwide. ITM facilitates inward buyers to Ireland with every aspect of their visit covered including hotels, transfers and a travel contribution of US$800 per horse purchased, per person travelling. There is no charge and no commission.
“We just wish for clients to come to Ireland, source successful horses and enjoy the experience.” noted Jeremy.
Jeremy can be reached by email at jgreene@itm.ie or call +353 87 112 1625.”
