  Marc Guiu enjoyed a Barcelona

         LEWANDOWSKI DOING LEWANDOWSKI THINGS
As of match week 14, Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski won the most points for his side (10) than any other La Liga player this season.
GIRONA RESCUING POINTS
As of November 27, Girona have rescued the highest amount of points (13) from losing positions in the top five European leagues this season.
17 IN 43 IS BETTER THAN
17 IN 120
Rodrygo has scored 17 goals in 43 games for Real Madrid in the Champions League, as many as he has scored in his 120 games in La Liga.
ONLY THE FOURTH
Girona became the fourth team in La Liga history to win 11 out of their opening 13 matches in a La Liga season.
17-year-old Marc Guiu has been described as
a ‘classic number nine’ by Barca youth coach Andres Carrasco. No pressure then but already the youngster has proved Carrasco right. It took Guiu 23 seconds and two touches of the ball to find the back of the net on his debut for the club as he struck the winner against Athletic Bilbao in October.
In doing so, he became not only the youngest, but also the fastest player to score for Barcelona on their La Liga debut. Guiu was destined to be part of the Barca family after starting his youth career with Penya Barcelonista Sant Celoni, a fan club of
Barcelona before joining La Masia itself during the 2013-14 season. The youngster has been prolific for Spain U-17 too scoring a remarkable eight goals in just twelve appearances.
At 6’2” Guiu is in the Erling Haaland mould and may just end up developing the scoring prowess to match him. Furthermore, with current Barcelona number nine Robert Lewandowski in his mid- thirties, it will be no surprise to if the youngster
is to become more and more trusted by Xavi as Barcelona look to build their next formidable team for years to come. Guiu will no doubt fit the bill perfectly for the Barca faithful.
