Nike have released a statement after Mason Greenwood’s post on social media. Greenwood is currently on loan at La Liga side Getafe after he was told that his career would lie away from Manchester United. Ahead of the La Liga side’s home match against Almeria, the forward took to Instagram to show off his shoe collection. He posted a picture of himself wearing a pair of Nike Air Max 97s and another image of his shoe haul. Nike, who sponsored the player before his arrest, have since issued a statement and confirmed that Greenwood is no longer a Nike endorsed athlete.

I’M FAR TOO OLD
UNDERCOVER
Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich a week after he exposed a ‘mole’ inside the dressing room that he claimed was leaking tactics. Nagelsmann’s departure from the Allianz Arena came as somewhat of a surprise to many, given that they were top of the Bundesliga at the time and still in the Champions League. German outlet Bild published a series of pictures which showed tactical documents. The documents explained the positions Nagelsmann wanted his players to take on the pitch, as
well as the mention of a ‘joker’ - a winger with special importance who possessed good movements.
Alan Shearer has given his brutally honest thoughts on a celebrity boxing fight between him and former Manchester United captain Roy Keane. Keane and Shearer came to blows on several occasions throughout the late 90’s and early 00’s. The Newcastle United legend relived the rivalry between him and the former Man United captain in the Match of the Day podcast, but he played down the possibility of a future celebrity boxing match between the two. “I wouldn’t. I’m too old for that s***, Gaz,” he laughed.

As of November 18, Harry Kane has been directly involved in 33 goals in 20 appearances for club and country this season.
DEFINE “LEGEND”
A Manchester United ‘Legends’ XI has
supporters on social media scratching their heads - as three players who’ve never represented the club feature. The Legend’s Football League in Dubai kicked off in November 2023 and a team called the ‘Steel Doctor Red Devils’ took to the field. There are some familiar names the Old Trafford faithful will recognise. Alongside Valencia are Dimitar Berbatov, Patrice Evra, Wes Brown, Dwight Yorke and Mikael Silvestre. Bizarrely, the team also featured former Leicester City captain Wes Morgan, ex-Leicester fullback Nathan Dyer, and legendary Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, none of whom ever represented Manchester United at any point in their careers.
