CROWNING MOMENT
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was left with a big pearly smile after a hilarious incident during his press conference. The German tactician attended his pre-match press conference to face the media before the Reds’ trip to the Emirates. The ex- Borussia Dortmund boss picked it up and noticed it was the dentist calling one of the reporters. Klopp said while showcasing his own pearly white teeth: “The dentist is calling, this might be important.”
KING OF THE BLOCK
Cheeky Tottenham supporters hijacked new signing Lucas Bergvall’s Wikipedia page after they beat a host of rivals to sign him. Spurs fans were delighted by the news – especially at the fact that their new boy had rejected Barcelona in favor of them. And they even swooped on to Bergvall’s Wiki page and edited it to hilariously celebrate that fact. The page read “he became another in a series of players to reject one of Europe’s giants of yesterday for new-kings-of- the-block Tottenham Hotspur.”
CHELSEA OCD
Chelsea legend John Terry has revealed he turns off plug sockets around the training ground to avoid seeing the color red. The Blues icon, 43, returned to Stamford Bridge last summer as an academy coach. And he has now shown off an unusual habit he completes to get rid of any red around the complex - the colors of Chelsea’s rivals Arsenal. Terry shared
a picture on Instagram of a turned on switch in the corner of a room - which has a small amount of red on it. And he added the caption: “When I’m at the training ground I have to switch these off because I hate the red in our building, I done this everyday as a player also.”
DID YOU KNOW?
NOT TRUE ... IT WAS ONLY $4.9 MILLION
Erling Haaland has denied reports from Norway that he’s splashed $5 million on a new private jet. The City star had previously owned a Piper M600 plane, together with dad Alfie and partners
in Norwegian company Sola M600. They sold the aircraft late last year,
with aviation insiders expecting the 23-year-old to charter flights in the future. However, Norwegian paper Finansavisen reported the group bought a luxurious Pilatus PC-12 private plane. Haaland, however, has denied the claims, calling them fake news.
