as a springboard for greater success. With the 2026 World Cup under two years away, it is a great opportunity for players to
show how they can make a difference in a high-level competition. As for the women’s competition, it is a senior national team event and will feature the best players at the peak of their powers. Often thought of as a pared-down version of the World Cup due to the number of teams participating, it has proven throughout the years to be one of the top events at the Olympics.
