Fragments of the base of an inscription band beardman. Acanthus leaves and portrait medallions on the lowerpart of the body. The inscrip- tion is crude with the letter'S' inverted and the YE ligatured. Thus: '- -NIT: YER:' invertedheart':ES--D :EST:GD '.Thejug is crudely-made.
Globular jug with small masks BAT 2809-20455
A globular jug with a wide, parallel-sided neck, cordons above foot and below neck. Three small masks are applied symmetrically about the neclc. In shape it is similar to Hurs~ NeaI and van Beuningen (1986: Fig. 106.332).
