A very interesting property of ConcreCem is the ability to improve the early strength of concrete when mixing the concrete at a low temperature. All the materials were kept at 5oC prior to mixing in a climate chamber (figure 5.6).
The temperature of the wet reference concrete mix was 11,5 oC and the temperature of the wet concrete mix with 0,3% ConcreCem was 11,2 oC.
