Ready to Wear
We carry an extensive range of ready to wear men’s shirts, suitable for business, leisure
or evening occasions. They are made in England from the finest cloths, and fitted with Mother of Pearl buttons. We apply the same techniques to our ready to wear shirts as those used in our made to measure and bespoke services.
The majority of our shirts come with our classic Budd forward collar. For those who prefer a semi-spread collar, we offer a small selection of shirts with our distinctive Webster Brother’s Bank Collar.
All of Budd’s collars are hand turned to ensure that they have a pleasing weight and fullness.
The shirts have a split yoke and high armhole and are generously cut with a slightly fitted waist. They are 31" long, 2" longer than is standard, to ensure they remain tucked in!
Double cuff shirts come with a firm forward collar and squared double cuffs, meeting the classic business shirt criteria. Our most popular shirts for this purpose are our white poplins, herringbones and pale blue end-on- ends.
Our button cuff shirts feature a breast pocket and are ideal for casual wear. These are available in a range of wonderful colourways and fabrics, including gloriously soft cashmere and cotton, brushed cotton ginghams and classic-tattersall checks, perfect for countrywear. We have recently introduced a Dunluce linen shirt to our ready to wear collection too.
Tailored Fit. As an alternative to our classic cut and for those who prefer a trimmer and more contemporary silhouette, Budd now also offers a good range of slimmer cut shirts in our ready to wear collection.
