WHAT IS A MIXOLOGIST?
A mixologist is a diy-loving, custom product-making, empowered essential oil enthusiast. Oh, and we smell amazing too.
SAFETY FIRST
Never put oils in the eyes or ear canals.
Rinse with carrier oil (not water!) if oils get in the eye.
Use glass or stainless steel products (cups, containers) with essential oils, especially for recipes containing citrus oils.
Unsure on dilution ratios? Check the bottle!
Every bottle label lists the appropriate dilution ratios for that oil.
Need additional help? Just ask the person who gave you this book!
DIY RATIOS
Follow these ratios as your starting point for recipes!
Cream: 15 drops/ half cup
Spray: 15 drops/ 2oz
Bath salts: 15 drops/ 1.5 cup salt
Roll on: 12 drops/10ml roller
Sugar scrub: 12 drops/4 tbls sugar, 2 tbls carrier
