Product properties
Perfektan® PAA is a highly efective concen- trate for manual instrument disinfection for use with all kinds of surgical instruments. Per- fektan® PAA is easy to use because its liquid 2-component formulation allows for imme- diate activity and avoids the lengthy process of preparing working solutions from powder based products. Perfektan® PAA achieves highest eicacy due to the liquid peracetic acid activator in combination with the base com- ponent. Even at high levels of organic soiling, Perfektan® PAA suitable for instrument disin- fection in all cases where maximum eicacy and rapid action are requested by the user.
Range of application
For manual pre-cleaning of endoscopes prece- ding thermo-chemical treatment.
For manual disinfection of medical devices of all kinds (surgical instruments, anesthetic equipment) as well as for rigid and lexible en- doscopes.
Application
In order to prepare a 1% working solution the whole content of the 2x 100 ml bottles has to be diluted in 10 l water (2% = 5 l). Concentra- te base component and concentrate activator must be used always together.
IMPORTANT: It has to be ensured that there is no contact between concentrate base com- ponent and concentrate activator while illing the whole content of the two bottles into the water. Both bottles have to be emptied com- pletely. Concentration and contact time should not be exceeded.
