PRIMAL MODERN
Primal Modern is a Los Angeles based boutique design studio specializing in luxury solid wood furniture and sculpture handcrafted from salvaged trees, steel, glass and leather. Every design is a one-of-a-kind creation which includes a certificate of authenticity.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our wood is salvaged from trees fallen by age or other natural circumstances. The wood is slowly air dried for up to four years and then kiln dried for several months. This thoughtful and patient process ensures quality wood that is environmentally sensitive and properly prepared for indoor use. As a part of our commitment to sustainability, our designs come from nature and we in return give back to her. Five percent of the profit from each sale is donated to environmental causes.

We offer a unique line of ready to purchase one-of-a-kind works of furniture + art. We are continuously creating new designs and expanding our collection that is available for immediate delivery.
COMMISSIONED
We collaborate with our clients and their designers to create personalized, one-of-a-kind and Limited Edition pieces. Please contact us to commission a piece from our existing line or to create your own one-of-a-kind piece or installation. Limited Editions can either incorporate wood from the same species to maintain consistency across the series, or use varied wood species to allow each piece an individual personality.
