“Little white egret waiting for insects to land on the golden coloured water along the Selinda Spillway. This is an interesting ecosystem as the flood waters from the Okavango push up the dry riverbed into the Selinda channel during the winter months. Flood waters from the Kwando River also push down allowing the Selinda to be flooded with waters from both rivers, creating a biodiversity of life as the fish are pushed into the channel bringing many other creatures along with them.” -BEVERLY JOUBERT
